I was there in December visiting and heard about the mailbox. It is such a nice idea. I did some research and found out more. We are having a family reunion and will share with other family memebers. I look forward to visiting it. Thank you.

I just finished reading The Mailbox by Marybeth Whalen, the book is wonderful. I’m putting Sunset Beach, NC on my bucket list.

I love the idea of this mailbox. I had the pleasure of making a visit there last year and also was able to be one of the stewards and mail off some of the loose papers and books to the person who runs the mailbox. I think it would be neat to put the stories in a book sometime.

I went there this past summer. I can’t wait to go back next year. I really like having this website to be able to share my thoughts about the beach and read what others have to share. It’s not the same as being there but puts in that frame of mind. Thanks.
